Our mission is to support grassroots community organizations in Nicaragua as they work to overcome a history of poverty, violence against women and environmental destruction.

Focus Areas:

• Helping abused and abandoned youths overcome drug addiction and physical and sexual abuse, enabling them to live healthy, productive lives
• Helping girls and women in their struggles against domestic violence and to achieve equal rights
• Helping rural communities develop sustainable agriculture and combat the effects of deforestation, soil degradation and climate change
• Providing material aid supplies to Nicaraguan community organizations donated by our community of supporters in the United States

PeaceWorks is a N. J. Non-Profit Corporation and a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization and is registered with the New Jersey Office of Charities Registration.
