Sept. 11th Dinner Forum and Zoom: Climate Code Red for Nicaragua

It has been a summer of heat waves, forest fires, droughts, and flooding. The latest UN report warned us that the climate crisis has reached a “code red” for humanity. Our partners in Nicaragua don’t need scientists to tell them what they already know — that severe weather and environmental degradation is threatening their livelihoods and their lives. But not all hope is lost.

It doesn’t matter if you are near or far… join us Saturday September 11th for a live conversation with FEDICAMP’s Miguel Marin. Miguel will talk in depth about climate change and the enormous challenges for the people of Nicaragua in the near future. Come on out for dinner at the Chatham Friends Meeting at 6pm. Then we’ll bring everybody into a Zoom at 7:30, no matter where you are!

Register in advance for this Zoom at 7:30pm on Saturday Sept 11th:
