Over the past 10 years, 40 young people who came up through Inhijambia’s comprehensive program for street kids have received university scholarships. Twenty-two have already graduated from four-year programs in fields like business, medicine and engineering. The others are still making their way through school with our support.

On March 22nd, 2025 in honor of the scholarship program passing its 10th year milestone, as well as  the amazing work of Inhijambia, we celebrated!  It was also our great honor to present long-time community member, Jerry McKenna (and his close friends and family) with our “Open the Sky Award,” for starting and helping to sustain the scholarship program for over a decade.
