Please join us this Saturday, November 19th at 7:30pm for a conversation to explore what a sane immigration policy, rooted in respect and solidarity, would actually look like. Let’s talk about what it means to build a culture that respects immigrants, and faces down the authoritarianism taking hold across the U.S.
On Saturday we’ll Zoom with attorney Joelle Lingat from the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker peace and social justice organization.. She’ll put the “crisis at the border” in perspective and discuss the challenges and opportunities to build an immigration policy rooted in values of the PeaceWorks community like human rights and democracy.
Time: Nov 19, 2022 07:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
