PeaceWorks invites you to a special screening of the documentary film “Borderland│the Line Within”. Lunch will be served at 1pm, screening to follow.

For over a year our work at Delaney Hall with the “Eyes on ICE” coalition has supported families in crisis after loved ones were snatched off our streets, thrown into for-profit prisons, held for long periods of time in deplorable conditions and deported, possibly to third-party countries to which they have no connection. “Borderland│the Line Within”explores the industrial immigration machine that profits from tearing up families, communities and an American exceptionalism rooted in hard-working immigrants who forever keep us young, vibrant and strong. While under attack, this film explores how this exceptionalism is far from dead.

This full-length documentary tells stories of immigrant heroines and heroes resisting and showing a way forward, intent on building a movement in the shadow of the border industrial complex, recognizing the human rights of all.

Please consider making a donation for PeaceWorks for families in crisis at Delaney Hall. $25-$100 gift cards go a long way in reducing the economic stress caused by our government’s cruel immigration policies.
