Today (March 24, 201) is the 3rd Anniversary of the passing of our dear friend and compañero Jim and also the 37th anniversary or the murder of Archbishop Romero in El Salvador.  Below is a beautiful short summary of the life and witness of Romero along with one of his more well known writings, “The Violence of Love.” This attachment was read by the Assistant Pastor at Madison United Methodist Church at last Sunday’s service where I spoke on the work of PeaceWorks and our Nicaraguan partners.  I thought it was worth sharing on this day when we remember justice seekers like Jim and Romero.
