December 9th: PeaceWorks 25th Anniversary Celebration

You are invited!

PeaceWorks is rooted in the social movement of the 1980’s that resisted the U.S.-backed war in Nicaragua.

But even when the war ended, PeaceWorks continued to support Nicaraguans fighting poverty, injustice and discrimination. 25 years later, our people to people, pueblo a pueblo work is stronger than ever! Not every group gets to turn 25.

So, please, come raise a glass with good friends – people who’ve spent the past quarter century fighting injustice and working together to build peace and solidarity with the people of Nicaragua and Latin America.

Saturday December 9th, 2017, 2-5pm Chatham-Summit Friends Meeting 158 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ. Food and drink will be served. Entrance is free, any donation accepted.

RSVP to Event Co-Chair Susan Steiner, smsteiner100@gmail.com
