Times are tough up here, as well as down there in Nicaragua. But we’re inspired by our partners who bravely, yet safely go out to work with Nicaraguan people who are experiencing an economic as well as a health crisis during the pandemic. So the PeaceWorks board has decided to follow in our partner’s footsteps and continue our work supporting them.
In October, we will be sending off our 77th humanitarian aid shipment to Nicaragua. But this time is different.
While we desperately need your financial support to offset the approximately $10,000 to get a container full of aid to our partners, we cannot accept any more humanitarian aid donations. Since we were forced to cancel our May shipment, we have more than enough items to fill the container.
