We are so very sorry to hear that Toby Tyler, a good friend of the PeaceWorks community, passed away on February 12th, 2024.

Toby and his wife Annette were a longtime members and supporters of Peaceworks and he joined our 2012 delegation to Nicaragua. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship (MUUF) he worked alongside PeaceWorks’ founder Jim Burchell to collect items for our mutual aid shipments to Nicaragua. For 25 years he also raised money during benefit concerts for Central America. 

Toby was the the kind of guy that was always looking to help disadvantaged and marginalized people. At MUUF he gave so much of his time, talent, and treasure. He was loved by all.
