In the 20 plus years Jim spent developing PeaceWorks, he built a broad network of mutual support by taking delegations from the New Jersey area to Nicaragua, and bringing Nicaraguan partners up to meet with groups and individuals in this region. He maintained constant communication with the growing PeaceWorks community, well before there was such a thing as social media, by writing newsletters and organizing dinner forums, aid shipments, speaking engagements and fundraisers. He wove together a true people-to-people network of solidarity, one that we’re happy to say continues to this day.
