June 28th “Brushstrokes for Peace” Event in Honor of Inhijambia Program for Street Kids

It’s been 26 years since PeaceWorks’ founder Jim Burchell made an initial $600 donation to help Mirna Sánchez get Inhijambia off the ground.  How it has grown! Since then PeaceWorks has helped make it possible for Inhijambia to reach children living in situations of extreme poverty and exploitation, giving them an alternative path in life

The Fire Me Up Studio in Cranford is hosting “Brushstrokes for Peace,” a fun and informative evening of painting, good food and drink while raising money for Inhijambia.  The $50 suggested donation includes taking home a 16×20” canvas painting that you create with guided instruction. Sunday June 28th, 7-9pm, 17 North Union Ave., Cranford.
