¡Muchisimas Gracias! The 68th Aid Shipment is on Its Way!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday October 10th to help sort donations and pack the shipping container for PeaceWorks’ 68th Humanitarian Aid Shipment to Nicaragua.  Around forty to fifty people came by to pack boxes full of medical equipment, school supplies, sporting goods, clothes, and all kinds of things requested by our partners in Nicaragua.

See the photos below!

We’re already getting ready for the 69th Aid Shipment in May 2016.  Meanwhile, thousands of people in Nicaragua are benefitting from your kindness from the 67th shipment we packed last April.  At PeaceWorks, the cycle of people to people, pueblo a pueblo never stops.

Would you like to contribute?  It costs about $10,000 to send hundreds of thousands of dollars in material aid donations down.  Please consider making a financial donation to our general operating costs to make the next shipment possible.  Got new or gently used things to donate?  Download a  list of items our partners have requested. Or just come out and help us pack!  Students and families welcome!
